We received the bags, it for my children (9 and 11 years old) and they love it as it really help eliminated the burden of carrying heavy school books. The same weight of books they were carrying in their normal backpack, they feel much lighter in this backtpack. I have been looking for a proper ergonomic backpack on the internet and came across your website, its really an interesting design and thoughtful. Letting the child carrying over weight school bag should be banned by Ministry of Education, the school as an educational institute must responsible and taking this issue seriously as it is harmful for physical and mental health of the child. However we were living in 3 countries (Thailand, South Africa, and Jordan), non of the school we ever heard they are concerning of this issue. Also the custom tax for these bags are too high as we paid JOD 140 (USD197) for this shipment, it is really a ridiculous policy (brainless).
 
Btw – thank you for making such a wonderful product. It should win a prize and adopted in all good schools.

Backpacks for my daughter since starting to wear her brace have been difficult… we tried a few different options and none were really great… until now! This crazy backpack solves all of the issues she has had, AND is healthier for her back! It applies the load to the vertical axis of the body, eliminates posture distortion, and the load is easier to carry! I thought she wouldn’t want to try it because it looks different, but she loves it! It was designed by a PT in our group, Marilyn Miller von Foerster. She was so helpful in making sure we got the right model for Kylie. Very excited about this find!!!

When I used the conventional backpack, I experienced back pain frequently, and was always overloading my backpack with books and binders. Within the first three days of using the BackTpack, my back pain was almost entirely gone, and has since completely disappeared. I can also carry the same amount, without walking around hunched over. I would recommend the BackTpack to everyone, especially to those experiencing any sort of back pain.

My kids and we as parents are in your dept for ever. The kids have not complained about back pain in weeks.
They are saying that even the way they sit in the desk at school is now more upright and not curled-over when writing. Michelle that was constantly in pain it totally off pain killers.
My wife find it much easier to loud the BTP in the boot of her car and even she has stopped complaining about the heavy load that the kids have to carry.

My old backpack just weighed me down and half the time it was resting on the back tire when I rode my bike. My backpack even got a hole where it was resting on the bike tire. It just got too hard for me to ride my bike so I stopped. With my BackTpack, I can put my binder on one side and my clarinet on the other. It’s easier to pedal so I’m riding my bike to school again.

I completed my Animal Biology Degree at the University of Guelph. Normal backpacks put a lot of strain on my shoulders, neck and back which in turn inflamed my TMJ or temporal-mandibular joint disorder. I found the BTP4 helped fix my posture and reduce the strain on my neck and shoulders, which reduced the inflammation and pain in my jaw and also reduced the number of tension headaches from the TMJ. It was also much less painful on my shoulders when carrying a heavy backpack full of stuff.

I don’t get any kickbacks from BackTpack, but their bags – I found one in my school bookstore and then bought another online – were my go-to in medical school. I was able to keep lunch, snack and personal items (purse) on one side, and my school documents, computer, and some medical supplies on the other. I moved easily from my bike to my classroom, or to a bus.
I recommend this to my patients who are students.
